Post game celebrations at EHBPC 2009
LHBPA members were actively involved in organizing the 2009 European Hardcourt Bike Polo Championship (EHBPC), which brought 40 teams to London in August 2009. Working closely together, the EHBPC committee and the LHBPA received an outreach grant from Play Sport London to host training sessions, which attracted nearly 50 people to come and try bike polo.

The EHBPC 2009 raised the visibility of bike polo across Europe and the event continues to go from strength to strength with Geneva hosting the EHBPC 2010 and rumours of Barcelona stepping up for 2011.
